欧美视频 Theatre to present "On the Verge" on April 28-30

Actors rehearse for 欧美视频 productionBOLIVAR, Mo. 鈥 欧美视频 Theatre presents its fourth and final show of the 2021-2022 season with the production of Eric Overmyer鈥檚 鈥淥n the Verge鈥 at 7 p.m., April 28-30 in the Davis-Newport Theatre on the Bolivar campus.

This absurdist production invites viewers into a world of irony and imagination as three Victorian women time travel through the years 1888-1955. 

鈥淭his show has taught me many different acting styles and has made me so much closer to my castmates,鈥 said Ava Andersen, a sophomore theatre major who plays Alex. 鈥淢y character was fun for me to tackle because she is incredibly smart and so naive.鈥 

Miriam Mattsfield, a sophomore theater major who portrays Mary, described her character as 鈥渁 true adventurer! She finds joy through constantly learning new things.鈥 

The cast of 鈥淥n the Verge鈥 is excited to take their audience along on their journey as the characters 鈥渇ind themselves and gain confidence,鈥 freshman social work major Rebekah Laws said.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $6 for students, senior citizens and 欧美视频 alumni, and $4 for current 欧美视频 students.
